Intuit has released the QuickBooks 2010 R5 update to manual update, and probably to automatic update later today. This update includes the features I talked about from the short lived R4 update a few weeks ago, without the sales tax bug that was introduced. Let me summarize the “revision mania” here. Then I’ll talk about […]
My apologies for ANOTHER article on product updates, but things have been changing fast in the past few days and I want to summarize what is going on. The primary focus here is on sales tax in the 2009 and 2010 desktop versions of QuickBook.
Some early notes on the R4 release for QuickBooks 2010, which is now available. I have to say, I’m getting tired of updates, AND I’m getting tired of updates that come in December when work schedules are more complicated and things are getting more frenetic as we approach the end of the year.
Intuit has released the R2 update for QuickBooks Pro/Premier 2010 and Enterprise 10. If you are set up for automatic updates you should be getting it, or go to the manual update page. Many users depend on custom fields to add features to invoices, sales orders and estimates (and more). The two most common complaints about custom fields have been there need to be more […]
My friend Rustler has posted his comments on QuickBooks Premier 2010 at http://my246shop.com/Rustler/qb-2010-premier He has his list of things he likes and doesn’t, and he touches some issues that I haven’t gotten to yet. Rustler was one of the beta testers of Premier 2010. Worth reading… Then, also, there is Nancy Smyth, another QB Addon […]
Up until now, if you wanted a uniform appearance to all of your QuickBooks forms (invoices, sales orders, estimates and so forth) it took a lot of work on your part. You would have to apply your changes in background, fonts and so forth to each individual form. This could be tedious. With QuickBooks 2010 […]
