QuickBooks 2018 R12 Released
Intuit has released QuickBooks 2018 R12, a maintenance release. This update should be available via automatic updates soon, if it isn’t already. You can also go to the QuickBooks Update site to download the patch.
QuickBooks 2018 R12 Payroll Changes
There are some payroll compliance changes for several states:
- Indiana (except Assisted Payroll): You’re now able to set up your employees’ State Occupational Code(SOC) as seasonal and file State Unemployment Income (SUI) quarterly using the XLT tool.
- Maine: You can now set up your employees’ SOC as seasonal.
- Washington: You can now identify and correct Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) discrepancies before quarterly filing.
QuickBooks 2018 R12 Bug Fixes
- This release fixes the issue where the invoice history appears as blank if you use a credit memo to pay an invoice.
- An issue with the Payments Login icon has been fixed, when emailing an invoice.
- Fixes the issue where the Account Center page only shows an error when a user without Realm signs in
- Fixes an issue to show Past Due stamp after clicking on What’s New when on an invoice.
- Fixes the issue that was causing Balance Sheet to go out of Balance when using an expense account in a credit memo line item.
I’m concerned about the error with the Balance Sheet. I think that all users should install this update as soon as is convenient.
