QuickBooks 2019 R14 for 1099 Forms

| December 24, 2020

Intuit has released QuickBooks 2019 R14, and the main update relates to Form 1099-MISC and Form 1099-NEC. This is the same update that has been rolled out for QuickBooks 2020 and QuickBooks 2021 recently.

This update should be available via automatic updates. You can also go to the QuickBooks Update site to download the patch.

If you are going to file 1099 forms then this is an important update.

  • 1099 forms: This release adds support for 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC printing and e-filing. There also may be some changes to the QuickBooks SDK (programming interface for add-ons) so that third party applications can support these forms. If you file either of these forms, you need to install this update. If you aren’t familiar with the 1099-NEC Nonemployee Compensation form, see the IRS 1099-NEC page.
  • Admin users can now edit the Intuit Account user ID when signing in to that account.
  • Users can now send a request to the mater admin to become a part of the company file Intuit account.
