QuickBooks 2022 R4 Released

| March 24, 2022

Intuit has released QuickBooks 2022 R4, primarily a bug fix update. From what I can see I believe that all the fixes relate to the accounts payable approval workflow that was introduced in the initial release of QuickBooks Enterprise V22. So if you are using QuickBooks Pro or Premier, this release won’t do much for you.

This update will be available via automatic updates. You can also go to the QuickBooks Update site to download the patch.

Should you get this update? If you are using the accounts payable approval workflow, you should. Everyone else, I wouldn’t be in a hurry.

Bug Fixes (and changes) in QuickBooks 2022 R4

As I mentioned, all of these changes are in QuickBooks Enterprise V22, and relate to the accounts payable approval workflow:

  • With this release, users can sync the rejected status from the approvals dashboard to bills and purchase orders.
  • Bug fix: This release fixes an issue where admin changes to draft/rejected transactions would show in reports.
  • Bug fix: When you would copy a draft/pending/approved/rejected transaction, the approval status wouldn’t copy. This is resolved.
  • Bug fix: Editing a draft or rejected purchase order will no longer crash QuickBooks.
