QuickBooks 2021 R9 Released
Intuit announced the release of QuickBooks 2021 R9, which has just one change that I’m aware of. This update should be available via automatic updates. You can also go to the QuickBooks Update site to download the patch.
QuickBooks 2021 R9 Payroll Direct Deposit Changes
Continuing with Intuit’s focus on getting everyone to use an “Intuit Account”, the QuickBooks 2021 R9 release (US desktop) now links Direct Deposit to your Intuit Account. Links that prompt you to sign in to that account will appear in the Payroll Center.
I honestly can’t say what advantage this brings to anyone, but hey, it doesn’t have a downside (other than a brief annoyance) that I can see?
